Hello my Doodle Pantry friends! Today is the first of September so that means it is time for the new Doodle Pantry RELEASE and the start of the DPDC50 challenge!!!! You will want to check out all of the great sets this month, but let’s start with Yard Yabber!

(A2; Digital stamp set: Doodle Pantry (Yard Yabber); DSP: SN@P (Short Stories)

This month, I used an outline image and colored it with Copics. I just love the punny sentiments in this set! There are several images and lots of sentiments! I used DSP from SN@P and did some stitching and that was all! Now, how much fun is that?!!!

I hope you enjoyed my card! Be sure to click here to see all of the new releases for this month and join us for DPDC50!

September FEATURED PRODUCT – DPDC50: Link up a project using a Doodle Pantry illustration, that also follows the challenge rules, and you get emailed this for free!

Thanks so much for stopping by to see what is going on at the Doodle Pantry. After leaving a comment here for me, please check out all of the awesome inspiration from our wonderfully creative Design Team!

Happy Crafting!

Hello crafty friends! Welcome back for another Cards in Envy challenge! This time the challenge is SCHOOL COLORS! Here is what I came up with:

I am a big Duke fan so, my school colors are blue and white. The pencil background paper was yellow so I digitally changed the pencils to blue. I merged birdie and the sentiment then printed and colored birdie with Copics.

Now it is time for you to join in the fun! Here is the link for you, just remember your card must be A2 (4 1/4” x 5 1/2”) size card no thicker than 1/4".

Challenge ends Sunday,  September 14th at 6 p.m. Central Time.

Happy crafting everyone!

Hello to all of my Great Impressions friends! Welcome back for more inspiration from the Great Impressions store!
Time again for NO CARD and NO TAG week!  I love to quill so I decided to quill a project to share with you: (Warning: Lots of photos coming)

This is a used Yankee Candle jar that I cleaned out and repurposed for my little garden.

I thought I would give you a close up of my toady. This is the first time I have done 3D quilling and I think he is just adorable!

This is the back of the garden and you can barely see my little 3D lady bug so here is a close up below.

I placed a round piece of Styrofoam in the bottom of the jar and covered it with moss that I bought in the floral section at AC Moore. After making all of the quilled pieces I attached them to floral picks and broke them short enough to completely push into the foam. I had to use long tweezers to arrange everything. Last, I made the sentiment “sign” using one of the sentiments from the Great ImpressionsToadally Awesome Set” and added it behind the toad.
Do you want to learn more about quilling? Be sure to check out my tutorial on October 4th. I will be showing a basic quilling technique and showing how you can use it to make a fall leaf. Mark your calendar!
